I went here and service was great, the food was good, it was a good proportion and much less expensive than I had expected. They could charge much more than they do because of the popularity of the location. Super tasty and not even too crowded on the Monday morning we came in. I could see it being more crowded on a different day, but it exceeded my expectations!
Incredibly unimpressed. Poor service and underwhelming food. Biscuits tasted like they came from a box. Sausage was definitely frozen patties. Eggs were from a powder. And then the waitess didn't even bother smiling, at all. Didn't bring all the food out, but didn't bother to say anything and came back with it a few minutes later, again without saying a word. I've been working in food service for 15 years and I had higher expectations from a place that can attract business without even trying, due to being a movie filming location. You really need to work on your game. I can understand if the locals don't know any better, but many people will....Sad.
We had an off experience here. The food was good diner food, I'd like to give them that. Our wait to get a table (they had some open just not clean) was 25 minutes - menus 10 minutes - orders in 5 - 45 minutes for food. The service was kind and sincere even though they were swamped. I hope it was a rare experience we had there and not common.
